Frontline Food Safety is an engaging and practical training course designed for food service workers at the front lines of food handling. This course teaches the essential skills and knowledge needed to keep food safe from contamination and prevent foodborne illness. It’s perfect for anyone who prepares, handles, serves, or stores food.

Using real-world examples and interactive activities, learners will gain a strong understanding of food safety responsibilities in a kitchen or food service environment.

Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

Explain the importance of food safety and how foodborne illness can occur.

Demonstrate good personal hygiene practices that reduce the risk of contamination.

Identify time and temperature control requirements to keep food safe during receiving, storage, preparation, cooking, cooling, reheating, and holding.

Prevent cross-contamination during receiving, storing, prepping, and serving food—including allergen cross-contact.

Clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment correctly to reduce the risk of spreading pathogens and ensure a safe food environment.

This course is presented in easy-to-understand language with lots of examples and is ideal for new and experienced staff alike.
